Information You Send Directly
Text entered into a name, phone, or address search is sent to the third-party provider that powers that result. San Leandro Residents Directory does not keep a copy of those search terms on its own servers. If you contact the operators, the message contains whatever information you choose to include, and it is used to read and answer the request.
Automatic Technical Data
The hosting service records ordinary technical logs such as IP address, browser type, pages requested, and timestamps. Those logs may be reviewed in aggregate to keep the pages working and understand which references are used. Cookies or similar tools may support basic analytics or, where applicable, advertising measurement. They are not a resident roll maintained by this site.
How Limited Data Is Used
Information connected to the site is used to operate pages, resolve technical faults, measure general traffic, and improve the reference. We do not sell a visitor list or build an individual profile from the public records discussed in the San Leandro directory pages.
When You Follow An Outside Link
The pages link to Alameda County portals, City of San Leandro request routes, California agencies, court systems, libraries, archives, USPS, and sponsored search services. Each outside provider sets its own privacy policy and controls anything submitted there. That is especially true of the sponsored results and the search forms, which are supplied by another company.
Who Processes Site Data
Hosting and technical service providers may process the server logs described above. Analytics or advertising partners may receive automatic technical data when those services are in use. Information may also be disclosed when a valid legal process requires it. We do not disclose a contact message for another purpose unless the law permits or requires it.
Security And Retention
The site uses an encrypted connection. Logs are kept only for as long as the operating, security, measurement, or legal purpose requires. There are no user accounts, passwords, or resident profiles stored by this reference for a visitor to access or expose.
People Under Eighteen
The reference is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information through a contact route, a parent or guardian may ask us to locate and delete the material.
California Privacy Choices
Depending on the person's circumstances, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), principally Civil Code section 1798.100 and following, may provide rights to access, correct, delete, or opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information held by a covered business. San Leandro Residents Directory keeps very little data, so a request normally means checking a contact mailbox and relevant server logs and removing material that is actually present. Use the Contact page to ask.
Those consumer rights do not erase a government record that Alameda County, the City of San Leandro, California, or a court must retain under an access or retention law. Requests about a deed, assessment, court docket, voter record, vital record, or other public file belong with the custodian under the California Public Records Act, Government Code sections 7920.000 through 7931.000. California's DROP platform is a separate Delete Act route for covered data-broker records.
Updates To This Policy
When the privacy practices or this explanation change, a revised version will be posted here. Continued use after an update means the revised policy applies going forward.
